Health Officials Warn of Possible 3rd Wave of H1N1

10 March 2011

DE PERE, Wis. (WTAQ) - State health officials are warning people about a possible third wave of the H1N1 virus. De Pere Health Director Mary Dorn says it's more likely with area kids on different spring break schedules leading to a jump in travel

She says there's still plenty of H1N1 vaccine available to those who need it. Dorn urges people to stay home when they're sick, cover your coughs and practice good handwashing. The southeastern U.S. is dealing with a swell in H1N1 cases...but Dorn believes it's too tough to predict how bad this round could be here in the Badger State.
